Top 8 ways to promote new content on website

This post is very important for your web marketing professionals. You can follow this tips for more and more revenue earning.

After months of rebuilding your website - adding great content
filled with profitable, keyword-rich copy (all due to Dr Ken Evoy's
excellent 5-day Affiliate Masters e-mail course, no doubt) - your
site is now ready to be uploaded to the Internet!

But how do you go about promoting this new content?
Well, you need a plan!

===== Side Bar =====
It's easy to receive Ken's 5-day Affiliate Masters e-mail course!
Just send a blank e-mail to mailto:tamsshopping101@sitesell.com
and get day 1 of this great course in your inbox TODAY!
===== Side Bar =====

WEBSITE PROMOTION PLAN

Yes, you need a website promotion plan! And you need a schedule
for that plan. And once that schedule's finished, you need another,
long-term plan - site promotion is never over! Some of the
activities that you should plan to do are listed below; you
can probably think of others, more relevant to your site: do!

===== Side Bar =====
For a long-term plan, and some long-term activities, read my
article called Promote Your Site Every Day!. You can find it :
http://www.shoptour.co.uk/webmaster-promote/promote-your-site.shtml
===== Side Bar =====

1: TELL YOUR E-MAIL SUBSCRIBERS

Tell your e-mail subscribers! This is an easy first step to take,
to promote a site redesign (or new pages on your site). Subscribers
have been expecting an announcement, anyway, because you've been
referring to the redesign in earlier newsletters (haven't you?).

This is your best opportunity to really go into detail about all
the great ways your site has improved, and all the new benefits
your subscribers will find. You could even (cheekily!) run a
competition to encourage subscribers to visit your site, and
find those inevitable bugs, before the rest of the web does!!

===== Side Bar =====
If you don't run a newsletter, this is one (of many) great reasons
why you should! Listbot, Topica, e-circle are just a few services
that provide free, ad-supported, newsletters:
===== Side Bar =====

2: TELL YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, ANYONE

Tell friends, family and others who are (legitimately) in your
address book. Make your e-mail personal, and friendly. And better
still, just talk about how your site now benefits or involves them.
That is, just discuss:
* your new link to their site
* your promotion of their affiliate program
* their new article, now on your site

Even busy friends and family, need to be 'encouraged'! Always focus
on benefits, but *get them* to visit!

3: TELL THE NEWSGROUPS

Tell the newsgroups about your new site, but only do this if you
are a regular contributor. Simply announce your site - check
that site announcements are allowed, first! - with a few good
reasons why members should visit! Better still, contribute to the
newsgroup, and simply leave your URL as part of your 'signature'.

A great place to find suitable newsgroups is
- http://www.deja.com/usenet/ (now http://groups.google.com)

4: WHAT ABOUT SEARCH ENGINES?

DON'T just blast your new pages to all the search engines /
directories! This may seem like spam to them, and your new pages
(or even your whole site) may get banned. This is because some
search engines need to be told about new pages, others don't. And
directories generally just like to know about the main page on your
site (unless you've just added a lot of content on a completely
different theme).

Search engine policies change regularly, so find out from others by
visiting a search engine forum, or asking someone you consider to
be an expert. An excellent place to find search engine advice is
http://www.searchengineforums.com [HELP! and New Member Forum].

(So what did *I* do? I just submitted one new page to the major
search engines. This page has links to all of the other new pages,
too, so the search engine spiders should eventually index all of my
new content. I visited searchengineforums first, obviously!)

5: DON'T FORGET PAY-PER-CLICK SEARCH ENGINES!

Add more keywords to your various pay-per-click accounts. This is a
great way to make new content available, quickly. (You just have to
wait for keyword-approval by the pay-per-click administrators).

Choose profitable keywords (high demand, low supply), identified
when you began creating new content. But, as you pay for each
click, it's important that you only get clicks from your potential
customers; so choose your keywords, title & description carefully.

===== Big Side Bar =====
Don't know what Pay-per-click search engines are? They are search
engines, like GoTo, that allow you to choose how highly your site
ranks for a particular keyword. So you make a bid on a keyword. And
if your bid is highest, your site features highest on that search
engine's ranking, for that keyword. And for each click your listing
generates, you pay the amount that you bid to the search engine.

Pay-per-click search engines are proving to be an excellent way to
get extra traffic. Especially when you consider that results from
GoTo, the main pay-per-click, feed into highly-placed sponsored
links on many of the major search engines.
===== Big Side Bar =====

To learn much, much more about pay-per-click search engines visit
this excellent site: http://www.PayPerClickSearchEngines.com/

6: FIND OTHER PROMOTION SOURCES

Search engines are not the only way to promote your site. There are
webmaster resource sites, freebie sites, and even Britney Spears
fanclub sites, all of which depend on new content! You name it,
there's a site resource dedicated to it!

So use your favorite search engine to discover these resources,
and check out their linking policy. Then, if possible, get a link!
(You may even want to visit some of the links on the resource site,
and get links from those sites too!)

With some persistence, this should bring you a lot of well-targeted
traffic. (Free Sites, for example, get most of their traffic from
one such resource: The Free Site - http://www.thefreesite.com )

7: WRITE AN ARTICLE

Writing an article (like this one) is a great way to promote your
new content. There are so many sites willing to accept articles,
and so many editors willing to publish them in their newsletters.
Just write about your new content (but not about your site), making
it interesting and informative to a general audience. Then, in the
author-byline, refer to your new content, and provide a link to it.

For example, I found a great site, Find Sticky, just from reading
an interesting article about sticky content, written by the site's
webmaster. I enjoyed the article and checked the author bylines to
see who wrote it, then visited his site - http://www.findsticky.com

===== Side Bar =====
Don't know how to write an article? Just write about what you
actually do, and the sites that you visit. Then read a few good
articles on 'how to write an article', and compose away! It *isn't*
difficult, and it can be very rewarding (not least because of the
contacts you make with those that actually publish your articles!)
===== Side Bar =====

The following sites accept free articles for publication:
http://www.ezinearticles.com
http://www.ideamarketers.com
http://www.marketing-seek.com
http://www.certificate.net
http://www.web-source.net
http://www.theukmarketer.com
http://www.MakingProfit.com/articles

8: GET VIRAL

Viral marketing is that elusive creature that can literally,
*literally* create a STAMPEDE of traffic to your site; just on the
continued recommendation of others. Think Am-I-Hot-or-Not? or
Hotmail or Hampsterdance or ICQ or Napster...!

So how do you go achieve viral marketing?

Simple! Come up with a completely original, innovative, easy-to-
use, easy-to-talk-about Wow!-of-a website... OR

Try one of these more common easier-to-achieve approaches:
- allow visitors to create virtual greeting cards on your site
- create free ebooks that include content (or articles) from your
site, and then heavily promote the free ebooks
- put free e-mail on your site
- put 'recommend-this-site' links on your site
- etcetera

Back to the article from Find Sticky. I actually found that article
in a newsfeed from Moreover! It seems that if you write articles on
a weekly basis, then it's possible to get your articles syndicated
via Moreover. So, with no effort from you (apart from writing
regular articles) you can get a link to your site (and your
article) on hundreds, even thousands of other websites!
http://w.moreover.com/site/publishers/index.html

As for Moreover - the newsfeed company - a link to their site goes
on *all* syndicated content. Clever, eh!?

~ ~ ~
Viral marketing brings more traffic to your site than any other
method! But it's a lot easier talking about it than doing it!

BONUS: WRITE A PRESS RELEASE

Writing a press release is a good idea, but only if your site
redesign *is* newsworthy - and only you know that! - your release
will be pretty much ignored, otherwise. If you insist on writing a
release, why not submit it to PRWeb (http://www.prweb.com). They
check the releases before submitting them to interested parties.
They'll reject your release if it isn't properly written (or
newsworthy). They do all of this for free, too!

CONCLUSION:

You've worked so hard on developing your website further, with new
content or a site redesign. And now you need to work just as hard
to promote this new content! So get a promotion plan, and work
through it, and then continually promote, promote, promote!

Enjoy your journey

How to Optimize for Google Search Engine

This post is very important for Search engine optimizer. So follow this post very carefully and realize these tips and tricks for web marketing and web promotion.I find this article from sitepro news.

THE RIGHT KEYWORDS
This article is not about keyword research so I will not spend too much time on this topic, however, I felt it was important to at least brush on this slightly. If you are interested in reading more, please see Keyword Research for Organic SEO.

Make sure that your targets are achievable. If you select the wrong keywords, it can make your entire optimization experience essentially a waste. Choose keywords that are attainable but yet still provide a reasonable search frequency for your industry. Your phrase selection should also be targeted to bring qualified traffic to your site.

Using the hotel industry as an example, targeting the word "hotel" would make very little sense but by narrowing it down to "Victoria BC hotel" you now have less competition, and a more qualified audience. Keep your targets in perspective and go after the obtainable rankings.

WEBSITE OPTIMIZATION
There are many on-site factors that play a role in your search engine rankings. Here are a number of those factors and what you can do to increase your chances of success.

Title Tag
The title tag plays one of the most important roles in search results at Google, and is almost always the heading Google chooses for each of its listings. Placement of your target phrase is best used near the start of the tag and repeated again in the middle or near the end. Three uses of your target phrase may be helpful in some instances, as long as it is not too overwhelming. For best results each page on your site should have a totally unique title tag.

It is also important to remember that because Google will use this title as the main heading for your listing, you will want to keep it attractive to potential searchers. Try to also add a call to action, or other wording to help make your listing appear attractive to searchers.

Strengthen Your Positions in Google!

To help illustrate the fact Google takes this tag into consideration, simply do a search for your target phrase and take a look at the titles of the top 10. I tried a search for a rather broad term "hotel" and saw that all 10/10 listings had it in the title tag, and 6/10 had it as the very first word. A quick scan showed that the entire top 30 either had the word hotel, or hotels in their title tags.

If you do only one thing to your website, make sure that all your title tags are relevant, unique, and contain your target phrase for each page.

Meta Description Tag
The Meta Description tag is still occasionally used by Google as the description which appears in the search results themselves. While this used to be a more common practice Google tends to use it most often on sites with very limited content, or those which are flash based. I have seen it still used for content rich sites, however this is less common.

The Meta Description tag still has an impact on search rankings. Your best bet when using this tag is to keep it short and sweet with your target phrase close to the start and not repeated more than 3 times. Like the title tag, each page on your site should have its own unique description tag.

Meta Keyword Tag
When it comes to Google this tag is useless, and won't influence your rankings. There is some speculation as to whether a spammy keyword tag can however, have a negative effect on Google rankings. As a result, if you do utilize a keyword Meta tag for the smaller engines, it is best to keep it clean and play it safe.

Density

Keyword density plays a role in overall rankings; however, it is not as cut and dry as it once was. Once upon a time there was a magic number that when used could almost guarantee top rankings.

This is no longer the case. Today the ideal density varies from industry to industry, phrase to phrase. To find out what density you should aim for, take the top 10 or 20 search results and see what percentage those sites are using. In most cases you will find that the majority of these sites have a very similar density to one another, and this average density is a good estimation of what you should aim for.
Forget Expensive PPC Advertising - There is an Alternative!

Body Text and Keyword Placement

The location of relevant text on your site will help establish the overall importance of your target phrase. While you do not want to overwhelm the engines and site visitors with a bombardment of target phrases at the top of the page, try to sprinkle in some instances as close to the top of the page as possible.

Synonyms
Be sure to include various synonyms for your target phrases within your body text on your site. Google will use these synonyms to tie in the overall relevance of the page for your main target phrases, which in turn can improve your odds.

To find possible synonyms you can use a thesaurus, but the best way is to search Google itself and see exactly what they consider to be similar. Simply search in Google for your target phrase preceded with a tilde, such as "~hotels". Next scan through the search results for any text Google has bolded. These are all words that Google considers to be related. Using the "~hotels" example Google brings up phrases such as 'travel', 'tourism', 'accommodation', as well as various hotel chain names such as 'Hilton Hotels'.

Keywords in Domain

There is still some speculation if having a target phrase as part of your top level domain (TLD) is of use to search rankings. From my experience, yes, there is value here, although, nothing like it was several years ago.

If you are starting off in the online world and are contemplating which domain to go for, consider one that uses your target phrase, assuming that it is both relevant to your business name, and uses no more than a single hyphen. While multiple hyphens in a domain can be successful, they are very common with highly spammy websites, so it is best to not take that route if possible.

While having a keyword located within your domain can provide some ranking juice, I would not suggest heading out and doing a domain swap. In most cases you would be better off working on your existing site than starting from scratch with a new domain.

Keywords in page specific URL
Using keywords for specific page URL's can also help add a little bit of value to your site, providing you use them responsibly. Consider using a keyword as a directory name and as part of a file name where it naturally makes sense to do so. If you have a website that focuses on tourism and includes local hotel listings, you may want to consider the following structure for your page on the Hilton:

MyTourismSite.com/Victoria/Accommodations/Hotels/Hilton.html

Heading Tags
Placement of target phrases within heading tags helps to establish the importance of those given phrases. That said do not over do it, or abuse it. Only place target phrases within a heading tag if it makes sense to do so, and don't flood a page with numerous tags. Heading tags are not as critical as they once were, but still a good contribution to a well optimized page.

Link Anchor text

This is the actual text you clíck on as part of a link. When full or partial target phrases are used within your text links they help pass on some value to the linked page for those phrases. This is also true when considering surrounding text. When the content around the link is also relevant, the link holds slightly more value.

While a link that simply states "clíck here" or "www.domainname.com" does have its place, they provide considerably less value than a link that would use "discount hotels" as its anchor.

Image Alt Text

While image alt text still plays a minor role, its biggest part is within the use of image based navigation. If you have an image linked to another page, the alt text will be attributed much the same way as standard link anchor text is.

Image Alt text should always be short and to the point and should accurately describe either the image itself, or the page the image is linking to. Do not use alt tags as a place to stuff keywords.

Inline Links

These are links that are found mid sentence or mid paragraph as opposed to a simple listing of links as found in a menu or possibly on a sitemap. Links found mid paragraph tend to pass on a little more value from the surrounding text and can provide more relevance to the linked page.

Site Navigation
It is absolutely imperative that your website be fully spiderable by the search engines. This may seem obvious, but often webmasters overlook Google's ability to crawl a website. Google has become very advanced in what links it can follow and how it can spider a website, but there are still some things that can cause significant roadblocks.

- Flash: One of the most commonly made mistakes is the use of flash. If flash is used as a sole means of site navigation then you can count on Google not viewing your internal pages, and having a significant disadvantage in terms of site rankings.

- Java Script / DHTML: These days most Java Script and even DHTML menus can be spidered by Google, however, this is not always the case. If your site utilizes any kind of fancy navigation and you are wondering why Google has not indexed your internal pages, check out Google's Cached Text version of your page. If you do not see any text links, then your navigation may be invisible to Google.

- Images: Image based navigation has been safe for many years now, but if your site uses this form of navigation it is essential to have brief, relevant alt text on all your buttons. This alt text will act much like standard anchor text for text based links. This is not only for the purpose of search ranking value, but take a look at Google's cached text version of your page. If you have image based links that do not have alt text, those links do not appear. This doesn't mean Google won't follow them, but for anyone viewing your site on a text based browser, your links will be invisible to them.

URL Structure
Avoid long elaborate URL's with extraneous characters. While Google has reached a point where they can index massive URL strings, it is best to avoid them if at all possible. For dynamic sites consider utilizing mod rewrites to significantly clean up the URL to not only make it more search engine friendly, but more user friendly as well.

Google closed source applications engine does evil

From http://www.itwire.com, I come to know this news. Please read this post which is very informative.

Google, the monolithic empire which once could do no wrong, has churned out another new product for its web 2.0+ conga line. This time Google App Engine gives the great promise of letting you serve your own applications to the world using the grunt of Google-powered machinery. However, it’s not the saviour it purports to be, perverting the open source way.

On the surface, Google’s App Engine sounds top stuff. You can run your own web applications on Google’s infrastructure. Write code, upload to site, Google serve to world. What could be simpler?

Indeed, anyone who has thought they could cash in on the cult of Facebook soon discovers Facebook won’t host your application. They’ll provide APIs and tools but you need your own web space. The free web area generally provided by residential ISPs could do the job but, hey, if you’re wanting to code for Facebook you have to think big and prepare for hits in the tens, nay hundreds of thousands. The millions even, as 20 friends spam invite 20 friends. Your free ISP web space will block visitors after so many and in this rapidly wired world nothing spells death by humiliation more than having your social web app show up as broken.

Instead you can now use Google’s App Engine which exists solely to serve apps from reliable servers that will eat up heavy loads. You get a free domain name under appspot.com or you can use your own domain. You get 500MB of storage along with plenty of CPU and bandwidth for about 5 million page views per month. That’s huge.

At the moment, only the Python programming language, version 2.5.2, is supported. There’s no PHP or .NET to be found here, although Google say more languages may be available in the future.

In addition, and sanely – Google have to protect their equipment – the apps run in a protected sandbox environment which restricts access to the underlying operating system and hardware. One example is that files can’t be created in code. You can read files, but only those uploaded with the app. Any storage requirements have to be met through the provided data store. Additionally, no background processes are allowed; all code must execute solely in response to a web request and must return a web-based response. After the response has been sent there cannot be any further processing until the next request is received.

APIs have been provided to work with the data store, Google accounts, e-mail services and some other items. You’ll need to download Python and the software development kit (SDK), which is available for download for Windows, MacOS and Linux. Disappointingly, and acting as a bad advertisement for the strength of Google’s equipment, my first attempts to download the SDK met with a 502 server error, reporting “The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds.”

I have to be fair: Google have at this time restricted the SDK to 10,000 developers. It's possible the failure was because that number has been exceeded. However, if this is the case I'd have preferred a message like "Sorry, the number of downloads has now been reached" rather than an error page.

Google earn revenue surge 42 percent

The great news for Google.com is that the revenue earning increases dramatically in this year.

Google has reported revenues of $US5.19b for the first quarter of 2008, a 42 percent increase on Q1 2007 and a seven percent increase on Q4 of 2007, and results look likely to be boosted even further as it integrates the operations of its DoubleClick acquistion which closed near the end of the quarter.

The company said that "The overall impact of DoubleClick in the first quarter of 2008 was immaterial to revenue and only slightly dilutive to both GAAP and non-GAAP operating income, net income and earnings per share." CEO Eric Schmidt, said: "As we integrate DoubleClick into our advertising platform, we see exciting new ways to improve the user experience and increase value for our advertisers and partners."

Google-owned sites generated revenues of $US3.40b, or 66 percent of total revenues, in the first quarter of 2008, a 49 percent increase over Q1 2007 revenues of $2.28b and a nine percent increase over Q4 2007 revenues of $3.12b. Google's partner sites generated revenues through AdSense programs of $US1.69b, 33 percent of total revenues, in Q1 2008, a 25 percent increase on Q1 2007 and a three percent increase on Q4 2007.

Google reports operating income, net income, and earnings per share (EPS) on a GAAP and non-GAAP basis. GAAP operating income for the first quarter of 2008 was $US1.55b, or 30 percent of revenues. Non-GAAP operating income in the first quarter of 2008 was $US1.83b, or 35 percent of revenues. GAAP net income for the first quarter of 2008 was $1.31 billion as compared to $1.21 billion in the fourth quarter of 2007. Non-GAAP net income in the first quarter of 2008 was $1.54 billion, compared to $1.41 billion in the fourth quarter of 2007.

Revenues from outside the United States totalled $US2.65b, 51 percent of total compared to 47 percent in Q1 2007 and 48 percent in Q4 2007. Revenues from the UK were 15 percent of the total.

Paid clicks related to ads served on Google sites and those of its AdSense partners increased 20 percent over Q1 2007 and four percent over Q4 2007. Traffic acquisition costs, the portion of revenues shared with Google's partners, increased to $1.49 billion in the first quarter of 2008. Other cost of revenues - data centre operational expenses, credit card processing charges and content acquisition costs, increased to $US624m, 12 percent of revenues, compared to $US516m, 11 percent of revenues, in Q4 2007.

Google employed 19,156 full-time employees as of March 31, 2008, up from 16,805 full-time employees as of December 31, 2007. Of the 2,351 added, approximately 1,500 were associated with DoubleClick. Google said that since closing that deal approximately 10 percent of the DoubleClick workforce in the US had been laid off.

Fresh and fast proxy list for 2009

Today I find some new brand proxy which is free and fast. You unblock myspace
facebook,youtube,bebo etc through these proxies.

Proxies are used by regular Internet users who want to protect their privacy, browse the Web from a public computer anonymously, and otherwise protect their internet usages rights and freedoms.
Many users fall in the grey area. These users have no malicious intent, but might use a proxy to bypass a network rule that they disagree with. Usually such activities include checking email, MySpace, Friendster, and Facebook accounts, visiting Hot or Not, etc. Some users might be brave and dumb enough to look at porn at work or school using a proxy.

Yahoo and Microsoft Both Lose Market Share to Google

Yahoo and Microsoft are two gaint in online business. But they lost their market share to Google.com last year. So google is now no. 1 in web business.

Net Applications reports March 2008 Search Engine Market Share, showing that both Yahoo and Microsoft had small losses that seem to have shifted to Google. In March, Yahoo lost .17% of total market share, MSN lost .26% and Microsoft Live Search lost .09%. The losses went primarily to Google, which increased its share in March by .43%.

One of our Software Engineers (not naming any names, Ryan) posed the question - "Who uses Microsoft Live Search? I bet it's mostly people that are searching for files on their own hard drive who accidentally click the 'search the net' button."

So, with our new segmentation (see above updates) on MarketShare, we decided to research it.
We theorized that if Ryan (oops, there's his name) were correct, we'd see nearly 100% of MS Live Search usage coming from browser sessions running on Windows and using Intenet Explorer as the browser. And, the results matched the theory, with 99.8% of Microsoft Live Search users running Windows and 97.2% running IE.

For these and other Global Market Share Statistics, go to marketshare.hitslink.com.

HitsLink Updates and Tips

Is there a way for me to filter or sort the data for a particular report?A majority of reports within HitsLink support custom filters. To add a filter to a report, hover over the relevant column heading and select 'Add Filter'. This will bring up an interface for adding the custom filter of your choosing. Current filters will appear at the top of the report, above the graphic if applicable. To remove a filter, click the 'Clear' link located next to the filter name. (Please note: If the 'Add Filter' option does not appear for the column heading you have selected, it means that filters are not supported for the data in that column.)

Can Hitslink track the amount of traffic and/or conversions I get via my email campaign?Absolutely! Campaign and eCommerce tracking is one of the main features of the Enterprise version of the HitsLink product. Tracking traffic and conversion generated by an email campaign is as simple as adding a parameter onto the end of your web address.
Instead of the link within the email directing to www.yoursite.com, you would have it point to www.yoursite.com?source=EmailCampaign1 (where EmailCampaign1 is any identifying name you choose.) Anytime a visitor accesses your site via this custom link, their visit will be tracked under 'Campaign Activity' and the campaign name you choose.

How to make money in online business?

Last night I found a very good website for beginners those who want to earn from online. I think these information will help you a lot to start online business.

If you are a beginner in "making money online" field, you must me wondering what do terms like "GPT,PTC,PTR etc." mean?

To make money online, you should know what do terms like these mean. From this post, I will try to educate you a bit so that next time you come across words like these, you don't have to wonder again.

Listed below are some terms used in "making money online" field:-

GPT - Get Paid ToGPT actually does not represent any particular kind of action for which you can earn money, but it simple means "Get Paid To".

PTC - Paid To ClickTo earn from PTC programs, you have to visit the sites and when you click a paid ad, then you earn.

PTR - Paid To ReadUnder PTR programs, the programs will send you emails and you have to read them and confirm the same by clicking on the link provided to earn money. (So to earn from PTR, you need PTC in the end too).

PTS - Paid To Sign UpPTS programs pay you when you fill up a sign up form for other companies. You are generally required to send PTS programs the confirmation email that you received after signing up with other companies and you earn.

PTP - Paid To PromotePTP program let you earn money when you advertise their links. More the number of people opening your link, more you earn.

Paid To Post-These are forums that pay you for posting. So if you have been wasting your time posting in forums that don't pay, stop that and shift to these.

Paid To Socialize-Very much like programs like Hi5 and MySpace, these programs pay you to socialize. The more you can socialize, the more you earn.

Paid To Share- PicturesIf you own a nice digi-cam and you can take some good pictures, then you can upload your pictures, and when people view your pictures, you can earn money.
Paid To SearchLike Google search or Yahoo search, Paid to search programs pay you for searching. Very simple, ain't it?

Paid To Take Surveys-Like real life surveys where surveys , online surveys are conducted by asking questions to you online. You earn for the surveys you complete. Online surveys can be a very good source of income if you live in countries like USA, UK, Canada.

Paid To Use Software-These programs pay you for using their software, In many cases, the software is a toolbar where the company that pays you shows ads to you. This way, they earn money from advertisers and distribute a small portion, sometimes big too, to you as well.

A very good thing to do when you are looking to earn online is to join as many programs as you can based on how much time you can put in and what programs do you like. Joining just a few is not going to fetch a lot of money for you unless you have a very big referral base. Hence, I suggest you to join as many programs as you can, so that you can have a nice flow of cash.
